When I heard about them hiring stunt actors I was shocked. Some parts of the choreography of the action scenes in the anime (that I saw in this video) genuinely looked pretty cool (the choreography, not the animation itself), this could’ve been such a great anime if they actually cared about it being an anime, instead of trying to make it what it’s not (a live action show)…such a waste.

ohhh now it makes sense. I was watching the clips in this video and thinking "This seems fine, if your on zero budget, or an amateur production, or this is the starting point that you'll refine from." That's why I didn't register the issues consciously, I'm used to seeing unfinished stuff in documentaries or zero budget fan projects, often partially done ones and my brain was automatically thinking in those terms of judgement. Holy lord this is the commercial project final draft isn't it? Edit: They had all the money to do it right, and spent it in mostly the wrong places. I'd argue the stunt team was a good idea, they just needed to have animators do the small adjustments and non-action work. It would have given the show's fight scenes a unique feel to help it stand out.

Beastars framerate is so annoying. It does not look or feel anything like anime, it's just a pure motion sickness machine

I never understood the hate on gen 5, i got pokemon black when i was 5 and i loved it, i still own a copy of pokemon black and heartgold and theyre my favorite games, the music was peak, the gameplay was peak, the story was amazing i loved it and the pixel art was stellar

I think another reason why arcane is so successful is also because it has what a lot of animation lacks off: attention to details. everything was thought out so profoundly, I'm not sure how to put it all into words, but they cared about every aspect, the animation, dialogue, the music, not one thing was left on the side. they cared and worked on even the smallest detail, and that's why it works. It's deep, profound, on pratically every level. That's not easy to find these days. to me at least. That's also what I like to see. You can see the passion and dedication that the creators put in something, and in the case of arcane, you see it perfectly.

Something that I always loved the most about this Animation style is... that it just *screams* "hands and feet". Which are considered as the most difficult parts of human body to draw and animate. But in Avatar, they are almost ALWAYS visible and in motion. This brings a lot more body language to the characters, something that usually cartoons and animes are trying to avoid or replace with something else.

I don't know why but I've always wanted a Pokemon game with a 2d Overworld with 3D Battles.

I have an original model Nintendo switch playing brilliant diamond on it during the day the game looks completely washed out. I don't know if this is because I don't have a switch OLED or what. Complete let down actually ruins the experience
